Creative Lead | Social Media | Football | £65K | Central London

Our client is a leading digital agency specialising in brand development and commercialisation. They work with top athletes and key influencers. Their client base is extensive and includes the Premier League, La Liga, Ligue 1, Bundesliga, Eredivse and Serie A. They focus on providing social media capabilities, data intelligence, creative content solutions, digital marketing and commercial partnerships.

We are looking for a high-calibre Creative Lead, who can strengthen and lead the creative department. The Creative Lead will have individual projects to work on as well as directing and supporting the team.

The Creative Lead will work closely with the content development team and aid them in developing compelling stories and content pieces for European top league football players.

Key Responsibilities:

Management:

  • Manage and motivate the creative team
  • Play a key role in helping to develop the creative team
  • Ensure that the team is performing at optimal levels
  • Manage the need for and use of freelance pool of creatives
  • Interrogate and interpret data to find insights that inspire creative ideas
  • Responsible the smooth running of the studio

  • Form a team with Content Creative & Head of Design
  • As content creative ‘conceptor’ bring BIG ideas to the table
  • End-to-end manage and own the creative part of campaigns and/or projects
  • Drive creative campaign from concept ideology to pitch deck to campaign plan, creative execution and client review
  • Prepare presentations and present these campaigns in a persuasive way internally and to clients
  • Develop commercial concepts in order to create buy-in of both internal and external stakeholders and beneficiaries
  • Experience with building creative presentation decks in keynote

Skills & Experience:

  • Relevant experience at an agency or marketing company with proven track record in telling compelling stories
  • Experience as a Researcher, Copywriter or Art Director
  • Experience of working on productions
  • Great understanding of digital and social content
  • Good business acumen around social media and digital marketing
  • A great communicator that works well with a wide-range of clients
  • Problem solver with great attention to detail and time management skills
  • Fluency in another European language would be a plus
  • Passion for the football world and in particular good understanding of how it operates
  • Solid experience experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
