We’re proud to be recruiting for one of the world’s leading news organisations with a monthly audience in the tens of millions. They are the world’s foremost source of news, analysis and debate on the global agenda, and they are now looking for a Senior Digital Sales Executive with substantial digital experience to join their growing team.
As Senior Digital Sales Executive, you will increase sales revenue year-on-year by using your knowledge of the digital industry and producing innovative sales presentations to win incremental business from new and existing clients. You will also follow-up sales as a trustworthy and reliable brand ambassador, with a focus on accuracy, client satisfaction and a real passion to succeed. You will be responsible for developing integrated sales solutions across a multi-platform portfolio, and work closely with other teams.
In addition, as Senior Digital Sales Executive, you will be involved in core strategy discussions, and have the opportunity to influence beyond digital advertising by partnering on high profile campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maximizing digital revenues from both existing and new UK clients and agencies by sourcing new business, generating repeat business, up-selling and creating new opportunities for clients
• Writing creative and effective sales presentations and proposals
• Implementing conversion strategies for non-advertisers or print only advertisers
• Generating incremental revenue by selling creative ad formats, multiplatform integrated solutions and sponsorship partnerships
• Building and maintaining client contact database
• Working closely with the EMEA sales team, the global Digital Sales Team and other business units to maximize opportunities
• Working closely with Client Marketing to demonstrate strong knowledge of your advertisers, the industries they operate in, their competitors and any digital market trends
• Working with creative services team to design and create co-branded advertising for integrated projects
• Developing and maintaining long term relationships with stakeholders within clients and agencies
• Recommending client guest lists for events
• Proposing and agreeing with the Sales Director a sales strategy for each account within your Top 10 list
• Capacity to be proactive in integrated sales strategy and convert solutions into revenue
Skills & Experience required:
• Several years' experience within advertising sales or equivalent client / agency experience in digital
• A proven track record of revenue growth
• Knowledge of UK market and key advertisers across the digital media landscape
• Agency/client media planning process knowledge
• Clear, persuasive communication skills
• Exceptional administrative and reporting skills
