We’re looking for a Web Developer to work in a creative team to help create new websites, pages and maintain and upgrade the existing portfolio of websites.

Main responsibilities:
• Translate PSDs into HTML/CSS/JavaScript templates
• Develop dynamic web pages using PHP and MySQL
• Use JQuery and other JavaScript technologies to create interactive elements on the web pages
• Support and troubleshoot the day to day technical needs for existing websites
• Coordinate timelines and workflow with Project Coordinator and Senior Developer

The ideal Web Developer will have proven experience in:
• PHP & MySQL
• Working in a LAMP or similar environment
• CMS creation and integration
• Hand coding HTML/CSS
• JavaScript & JQuery
• Translating PhotoShop templates into pixel perfect code
• Browser compatibility testing
• W3C standards
• Excellent eye for detail

Web Developer for Celebrity Brand - 6 month contract

Our client is a famous TV celebrity with a portfolio of very successful businesses in a number of arenas. They boast a web portal with huge traffic and worldwide audience, and are now looking for a talented midweight front- and back-end Web Developer.

As Web Developer, you will join a dynamic and close-knit team that is looking to drive real innovation across the web. You will be responsible for the front- and back-end build of new websites as well as maintaining and optimising existing websites.

Key Responsibilities:

 Translate PSDs into HMTL/CSS/JavaScript templates

 Use JQuery and other JavaScript technologies to create interactive elements on the web pages

 Support and troubleshoot any browser display issues for existing websites

 Assist the Senior Developer with LINUX server administration

 Enable various 3rd party stakeholders the ability to create and update website content by using and developing appropriate content management tools

 Support and troubleshoot the day to day technical needs for existing websites

 Be mindful of bandwidth and server load needs and make recommendations to cover potential growth

 Coordinate timelines and work flow with the Project Coordinator and Senior Developer

 Keep a detailed and transparent plan of deliverables and milestones (including any third party work), so that the Head of Online is always up to date on progress

Skills & Experience required:

 Hand coding HTML/CSS

 Good knowledge of JavaScript and JQuery

 Translating PhotoShop templates into pixel perfect code

 Browser compatibility testing

 W3C standards

 Have an excellent eye for detail, good layout skills, and design with the user in mind

 Commercial experience in web development using PHP and MySQL

 Working in a LAMP environment

 CMS Integration

 A loves for learning new technologies

 Experience using Photoshop
